Delay isn't a denial; imagine recognizing the clouds understanding the effort invested to fill them, and having the luxury to monitor it's progress. Just see how close you are to a breakthrough. However, the Christian life doesn't always align with this perspective. I prefer describing our journey using what I call the catapult mechanism. In this analogy, a catapult utilizes stored energy in flexed materials to launch a projectile. Before the launch, there's a pulling back, akin to setbacks and delays. But can we perceive these as refining and preparation processes? Just like a catapult requires stored-up energy to propel the projectile, our journeys might be building up unseen strength for a significant launch.
Ecclesiastes 11:3"If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: "
But how do we fill our clouds with rain? How do we store up energy that can propel us?
Jude 1:20"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,"
Prayer is one of the many ways to generate energy and fill up your clouds.
Luke 18:1 "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;"
We must always remember that the plans God has for us are good and not evil, yes the circumstances surrounding your life aren't good, maybe like Joseph God has shown you a promising future but your life looks like slavery, hold on to God trust the process, during this pull back don't just mop around, fill your clouds there's a propelling and it's a heavy downpour.
This is God's word to you
Joel 2:23-26"Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month." the former rain and latter rain in just the first month, this is a propelling, a heavy downpour the promises of God are so beautiful then He goes on to say,
"And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."
Restoration, speed, abundance, and oh there's more
"And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." I love the last sentence "And my people shall never be ashamed"! Hallelujah
Cheer up, it's going to rain/MATAR/ soon your journey is beautiful and I can't wait to hear your tale of resilience and growth.
